Lynda Benglis
'Figures'
The SCAD Museum of Art presents "Figures," four large-scale wall hangings by pioneering American artist Lynda Benglis. These cast aluminum works defy categorization, representing Benglis’ continued interest in blurring the boundaries between painting and sculpture and the merging of form and content. At once delicate and robust, these abstract works also evoke the human form and gestures of the body.
