'Queen (A Portrait of Madonna)'

The SCAD Museum of Art presents acclaimed video artist Candice Breitz’s "Queen (A Portrait of Madonna)." This multichannel video installation features avid Italian Madonna fans performing their way through Madonna’s "Immaculate Collection" album.

"Queen (A Portrait of Madonna)" is an extension of the group exhibition "Rehearsals: The Practice and Influence of Sound and Movement" (on view at the museum April 12-Aug. 23) that presents works by acclaimed African American artists from the Walter O. Evans Collection in dialogue with selected contemporary works addressing the themes of movement, sound and process.
