Join artist Raphaël Barontini and the Savannah High School marching band in a special performance to celebrate the opening of Barontini’s site-specific installation in the SCAD Museum of Art Jewel Boxes, honoring the life of Frederick Douglass. In this processional, the Savannah High School marching band will mark the opening of each street-facing Jewel Box with a special song, action, or dance. This parade pays tribute to this historical figure, while recognizing the young people who continue Douglass’ legacy.
