This event is free and open to the public and part of SCAD deFINE ART 2019, held Feb. 26–28 at university locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia.

Experience the crossover soundscapes of SCAD deFINE ART special guest performer and SCAD alumna, BOSCO, in a unique set performed against video projections by multimedia artist and designer Emeka Alams.

Currently based in Los Angeles, BOSCO is a searing talent working in fashion and music. She grew up in Savannah, studied fashion design at SCAD and came into her own voice in the Atlanta DIY scene. Her music has been described as being "trap-infused," "grungy" and a melting pot of R&B, soul and alternative rock/pop.

Alams is an artist, designer and fashion impresario who has presented his work in various contexts ranging from the cat walk, record covers, museums, galleries and publications. The core of Alams’ practice is based on inventing new sets of sophisticated symbols and hieroglyphics that reference ancient African writing systems while pointing toward Afrofuturist potentialities.
