Realize the power of aesthetic simplicity as assistant curator Haley Clouser leads guests through No Simple Matter, an exhibition of Minimalist-inspired works from the SCAD Museum of Art Permanent Collection. Joining Clouser is alum and SCAD professor of foundation studies Gretchen Wagner, who shares insight on how artists such as exhibiting painter Bridget Riley (b. 1931, London) influence her work and teachings.

Attendees enjoy a brief study on the applications of line and color as seen in No Simple Matter and an interactive prompt to create their own Op art.

This event is free for SCAD Card holders and museum members and open to the public with the cost of admission. Materials provided.
