Whether you’re an aspiring actor or penning the next bestseller, getting into the mind of your character is key.
Start this live-action role playing workshop by touring Marcel Dzama’s exhibition An End to the End Times. Dzama’s work features costumed figures positioned against stage-like settings, and his dark yet whimsical aesthetic lends complexity to his characters. Take part in a special viewing of two of Dzama’s short films. Then, learn the finer points of faux sword fighting with SCAD performing arts professor Andrew Ramcharan. After the workshop, enjoy a delicious box dinner to take home.
Admission to the workshop is $10 and all skill levels are welcome.
