Join artist and SCAD alum Michael Ezzell (B.F.A., illustration, 2014) in the gallery for a conversation on his exhibition Inferno on the Mantel. The exhibition presents recent paintings that feature the Grecian vessel as their primary subject, examining theories of existence through a surreal language anchored in folklore and antiquity. The artist shares insight on the mythological, art historical, and decorative sources that inform his dynamic imagery.

About the artist
