SCAD MOA adjunct curator Humberto Moro leads an exclusive members-only tour of exhibitions featuring work by renowned artists Sanford Biggers, Christto & Andrew, and Carlos Garaicoa.

In his conceptual works, Biggers, the SCAD deFINE ART 2021 honoree, combines references from myriad domains including European Modernism, Dada, abstraction, traditional African sculpture, Buddhism, and American history. Christto & Andrew work primarily in photography, using a surreal style to portray the effects of structural systems like history, politics, and the economy, as well as popular culture at large. Garaicoa’s series of works poignantly signals the ways in which more abstract phenomena like power and entropy affect the tangible universe like cities.
