Join SCAD chair of jewelry Jay Song for an inside view of her pieces in the museum’s collection. Refreshments on the terrace to follow.

Song’s lantern ring, which hangs down from the hand to create a meditative or peaceful moment, is featured in the SCAD MOA exhibition Ring Redux: The Susan Grant Lewin Collection. Song’s use of mulberry paper creates the urge to feel its lightness and peer into its concealed interior, which reveals the unexpected sparkle of freshwater pearl.

To RSVP, contact Kristin Poitras, coordinator of museum visitation, at 912.525.7145 or kpoitras@scad.edu.
