The SCAD Museum of Art and Friends of SCAD cadres join forces for an exclusive tour of SCAD Savannah, including the Back40, Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center, and SCADstory. Get acquainted with members of the university’s community engagement team as you learn more about their work as hosts for special guests, activators of unique experiences, and organizers for collective educational opportunities. The day trip includes a catered picnic lunch from the Gryphon hosted by Gutstein Gallery.

Back40
Honoring 40 creative years, SCAD Back40 is a sustainable urban farm featuring an apiary haven for bees and pollinators, community enrichment education programs, and an observation area for schools and organizations. Abundant in fresh produce, SCAD Back40 provides regular donations to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.

Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center
This 180-acre, state-of-the-art equestrian center is designed to hold major equine events and includes paddocks, pastures, and arenas for competitions, as well as two barns for the university's and student riders’ horses.

Gryphon
Located in the ornate 1926 Scottish Rite building on the enchanting Madison Square, Gryphon offers visitors and locals alluring café fare in an elegant setting. The menu features signature favorites and fresh, seasonal offerings of rich, organic ingredients from local sources.

Gutstein Gallery
Adjacent to Jen Library, Gutstein Gallery is home to SCAD Art Sales and hosts rotating exhibitions of curated works by SCAD artists.
