Join Maggie Ellis (B.F.A., painting, 2014) in the alumni gallery for a closer look at her exhibition The Ride. In conversation with SCAD Museum of Art assistant curator Brittany Richmond, Ellis will discuss her dynamic approach to conveying anxiety and exhilaration through painting, the viral videos and New York street scenes that inspire her subject matter, and the ways in which historical painters influence her compositional choices.
