The Art of Meditation: Inspire your practice

A grounding practice that encourages us to stay present in the moment, meditation has many benefits for creative minds. Join us for a weekly meditation session to relax and renew your artistic focus. Each session runs 20–30 minutes. Dress comfortably and bring a mat or blanket.

This weekly meditation workshop is free for museum members and SCAD students, faculty, and staff with a valid SCAD Card, and open to the public with the cost of museum admission.

SCAD Tours: Vitalize Black History in Savannah's Communities

Journey through historic neighborhoods of Savannah on a bus tour that spotlights SCAD’s commitment to preserving local Black history and the university’s enduring fellowship with community leaders. From significant civil rights sites to major contemporary restoration initiatives, each stop on the tour centers on visionary voices from Savannah’s African American past, present, and future. Tours, held in conjunction with Super Museum Sunday, last approximately two hours, beginning at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
