Feel serene at 'The Art of Meditation' workshop at SCAD MOA

Meditation is an ancient wellness practice that encourages us to stay present in the moment and to fine-tune our focus, and has many benefits for creative minds. Join us a for a weekly meditation session to relax and restore your artistic flow. Each session runs 20–30 minutes. Dress comfortably and bring a mat or blanket.

This weekly meditation workshop is free for museum members and SCAD students, faculty, and staff with a valid SCAD Card, and open to the public with the cost of museum admission.

Commune through the language of art on SCAD MOA tour with ASL interpreter

Join SCAD MOA for a docent-led tour presented in American Sign Language. ASL interpreters translate insight and observations, allowing hearing, deaf, and hearing-impaired audiences to experience art together.

RSVP at least 48 hours prior to the tour by contacting Kristin Poitras, manager of museum visitation and programming, at [email protected] or 912.525.7145. Sign language interpreters may be requested for all SCAD MOA tours with at least two weeks’ notice.

College students get in free at SCAD MOA every Saturday. Present a valid college ID at the front desk to view extraordinary exhibitions organized by world-class curators.

This workshop is free for teen museum members and teen SCAD students with a valid SCAD Card. Open to the teen public with the cost of museum admission.

Treat the little artist in your life to SCAD MOA Story Time on the first Saturday of each month. Enjoy exciting tales and fun activities as you learn about the work on view.

Story Time is programmed for children ages 3 and up.
