Shoplifter creates fanciful environments that immerse viewers through sight and touch. Her ultra-sensory, site-specific installation Chromo Zone consists entirely of plush neon synthetic hair, inviting viewers to experience joy and play.

Tour the diverse artistry of painter Gonzalo Hernandez on 'Guests and Gusto'

Join artist Gonzalo Hernandez (M.F.A., fibers, 2019; M.A., painting, 2019) and associate curator Ben Tollefson as they walk through Hernandez’s solo exhibition “):),” on view at the SCAD Museum of Art Alumni Gallery, Nov. 17, 2020–Jan. 24, 2021. The two will discuss the artist’s works, which were created specifically for the gallery. Viewers will hear about Hernandez’s artistic process and concepts, which are grounded in themes of identity, labor, and success and failure.
