Super Museum Sunday, presented by the Georgia History Festival, offers the best of Savannah’s historical sites — including the SCAD Museum of Art and SCADstory — all free of charge.

The SCAD Museum of Art, housed in the nation’s only surviving antebellum railroad complex, is a premier contemporary art museum that features emerging and established international artists through commissioned works and rotating exhibitions.

Get ready for the holidays at the SCAD Museum of Art and create ornaments using vintage photographs in a workshop inspired by the exhibition Frederick Douglass: Embers of Freedom. In addition to participating in the workshop, guests will tour the galleries and lunch will be provided.

Give the holidays a fashionable spin with an interactive workshop where teens can create beaded ornaments inspired by fashion designer Michael Cinco’s exhibition Impalpable Couture. In addition to participating in the workshop, guests will tour the galleries and lunch will be provided.

SCAD Museum of Art members are invited to explore outstanding exhibitions by Lara Favaretto, Isaac Julien, and Mark Wallinger during a curator-led tour. Humberto Moro, curator of SCAD exhibitions, will serve as your guide.
