The SCAD Museum of Art welcomes you to experience an intimate evening of art and music set within the “Chambre de Soie” silk embroidery room, a central aspect of Eva Jospin’s exhibition Into the Woods. This atmospheric program activates the artwork through a live performance by local musicians on harp and violin, creating a dialogue between visual and sonic expression.
Proudly aligned with the annual Blue Star Museums movement, the SCAD Museum of Art is eager to host our U.S. service members. In collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and museums across America, SCAD MOA welcomes active-duty military personnel and their families to the galleries with complimentary admission starting May 16, through Labor Day, Sept. 7, 2026. Experience VOLUMES, a site-specific interactive light installation by Texas-based artist Ezra Masch that responds in real time to the rhythms of drummers. Brought to life by regional drummers working across a range of musical specialties, the installation comprises a grid of more than 20 tubular LED lights that translate strikes on drumheads and cymbals into luminous bursts.
Join SCAD alum Megan Miller (B.F.A., advertising, 2012; B.F.A., photography, 2012) of Hale Tea Company as she leads members through a flavorful experience in the museum’s Alex Townsend Memorial Courtyard. Inspired by the new season of SCAD deFINE ART exhibitions, Miller will introduce members to the basics of creating a custom tea.
