Artist and animator Joshua Leonard is known for creating inclusive characters that reflect the rich diversity of human beings. At this character design workshop for SCAD students, Leonard encourages participants to consider how their characters can become channels for change and compassion.

In this workshop with artist and storyteller Aiysha Sinclair, use recycled materials to create fun, colorful puppets that bring a folk tale or fairy tale to life.

This imaginative family workshop is programmed for 7–10-year-olds. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. SCAD photography will be present.

Spirit dolls heal and bring joy, keep company, and console. Some hold the ceremony of culture, while others are made to comfort. They connect us to the past and remind us to hold on to the wonder of possibility.

Meditation is an ancient wellness practice that encourages us to stay present in the moment and to fine-tune our focus, and has many benefits for creative minds. Join us a for a weekly meditation session to relax and restore your artistic flow. Each session runs 20–30 minutes. Dress comfortably and bring a mat or blanket.
